The Levin College of Public Affairs and Education acknowledged the college's valedictorian, outstanding students, staff and promoted faculty in an event to mark the end of the semester held in the Student Center ballroom April 15.
Dean Jill Gordon, Ph.D., opened proceedings with a welcoming speech, congratulating the students, faculty and staff for their outstanding work at CSU.
The Levin College valedictorian for spring 2024 was awarded to Courtni Began, Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Regional Studies, with minors in Human Resources Management and Sustainable Urban Development.
The following students were recognized for exceptional work and academic achievements.

- Mia Mills: Mid-Childhood Language Arts & Social Studies

Richard Perloff, Ph.D., was honored for being named by CSU as a Distinguished Full Professor for his decades of scholarship and work.
The Distinguished Faculty Award went to Adam Voight, Ph.D., associate professor in the Department of Educational Studies, Research and Technology.
The Dean’s Diversity Award went to Beth Nagy, Ph.D.
