Cleveland State brought in Justin Dalum as goalie in the second half, setting up the Vikings' win after Wagner went scoreless in the third quarter thanks largely to Dalum's heroics in front of the net.

Wagner widened the gap to 9-7, before Landon Whalen and Erker scored to tie the game at 9-9.
