Two CSU records fall during Bison Outdoor Classic

Cleveland State athletes shone at the two-day meet in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.

Cleveland State track and field athletes broke two school records at the Bison Outdoor Classic, April 11-12, in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.

Senior Ana Crangle set a new program record in the steeplechase for the second consecutive meet. She finished second overall with a time of 10:40.84, improving on her previous record of 10:49.34 set just one week earlier.

Sophomore Olivia Todd also shone, setting a school record in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:02.49. She placed 11th overall in the event.

Emma Sanders added to the excellent Vikings’ performances with a 13th-place finish in the 100-meter dash, crossing the line in 12.25.

Cleveland State returns to competition this weekend at the 56th Sparky Adams Invitational, hosted by Baldwin Wallace on April 17-18.
