Billy Joel and Rod Stewart attracted over 50,000 excited fans to Huntington Bank Field, Sept. 13, 2024. It was the first time the two superstars had shared a concert stage.

CSU’s men’s soccer defeats Chicago State, 3-1
Cleveland State men's soccer defeated Chicago State 3-1 on Friday at Krenzler Field. It was the second straight victory at home for the Vikings, who moved to 2-1 for the season with the win.
In the first half, CSU's Bojan Kolevski (9) scored twice with assists from Quinn Goves (30) and Marko Rimac (7), taking a 2-0 lead into halftime.

2024 TRIO graduates celebrate
CSU's TRIO Student Support Services program hosted its annual graduation on May 2 when first-generation graduates celebrated with family and friends graduating from Cleveland State University.
The TRIO/SSS Program is designed to help first-generation college and/or low-income students progress toward graduation. TRIO/SSS provides opportunities for academic development, assistance with college requirements, and the motivation and support needed to complete a college degree.
CSU celebrates CarniVike
Students, friends, family and members of the Cleveland community were out having fun the afternoon of May 1, as Cleveland State University's Division of Hospitality Services hosted its annual CarniVike.
The event served as a platform to raise awareness and foster inclusivity. Students, and the wider college community and its supporters attended. Sponsors included Freshwater, RTA and the Cleveland Public Library.

Over 100 vendors attend CSU career fair
The Career fair has become one of the biggest events each year at CSU. Career Development and Exploration hosts the fair, which this year brought together potential employers with students on March 7, 2024. One hundred and twenty-five employers, 275 recruiters from industries across the region, and 16 school districts were represented. A third of the employers said they were open to hiring international students.
