CSU track & field shines at Jud Logan Invitational
Cleveland State University track and field put together a strong showing at the fifth Jud Logan Light Giver Open, hosted by Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio, Feb. 6. The Vikings recorded five top-five finishes, including three podium placements.
The Vikings’ 400-meter distance relay team of Kayla Crissman, Olivia Todd, Deena Ingrassia, and Ana Crangle set a new school record with a time of 12:06.83, earning second place. The previous CSU record of 12:23.37 was set at the 2024 Horizon League Championship.
Individually, Todd captured first place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.85, becoming the first Viking to win an event this season.
Other top performances included Natalie Keller taking third in the 5,000 meters in a time of 18:00.73. Chloe Haase finishing fourth in the 200-meter open and Trinity Lamp placing fourth in the 60-meter hurdles final in 8.75 seconds.
Next up: Cleveland State will compete next at the Spire College Indoor Games on Saturday, Feb. 14.
