As the spring semester wraps up, students can find a variety of entertaining events happening around Cleveland.

Writers Unplugged: Lori Rader-Day and Ann Cleeves 

The Cleveland Public Library will host a meet-n-greet with award-winning mystery authors Ann Cleeves and Lori Rader-Day on April 24 at 7 p.m. Guests will be immersed in intimate conversations with the writers as they discuss some of their latest works. Ann Cleeves’s most recent character reveal is the mysterious Detective Matthew Venn – her books are also produced for PBS television. Working Class Brewery presents: Dauber Divas DRAG BINGO

The Dauber Divas, Anhedonia Delight and Peach Fuzz, will bring dazzling performances on April 25 at 7 p.m. to Working Class Brewery, 17448 Lorain Ave. Guests will enjoy a free game of bingo, and a selection of beverages to choose from. There will be several rounds, with an entertaining intermission featuring the queens. Geauga County Maple Fest

A quick 40-minute drive outside Cleveland will bring you to Chardon for the Geauga County Maple Fest. This family-friendly festival runs from April 27 to April 30, from noon to as late as 11 p.m. in Chardon Square, 100 Short Court St., Chardon. Admission to the event is free, but patrons will find tons of delicious food for purchase and thrilling rides to keep them entertained. All-day wristbands for the rides are available for $25. Imposters Theater’s Main Stage Sketch Show

Imposters Theater will marquee the last showing of its very first Main Stage Comedy Show on April 29 at 7 p.m. at Imposter Theater, 4828 Lorain Ave. The production is put on by several Northeast Ohio comedians and promises to deliver lots of laughs. Imposters Theater aims to illuminate local talent through various shows and educational programs.
