
CSU men’s basketball defeats Purdue Fort Wayne, 75-72
Cleveland State men's basketball came from behind to defeat Purdue Fort Wayne, 75-72, at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum on Feb. 7.
The host Mastadons got the lead early and held it throughout the first half of the game, leading by as many as nine points.
Cleveland State then fell 11 points behind early in the second half. But the Vikings steadied, found their rhythm and fought back to overcame a large deficit for the second time against Purdue Fort Wayne this season.
CSU's Drew Lowder (3) was a perfect 3-for-3 from the free throw line and scored 20 points in the second half. His performance anchored the Vikings’ comeback win.
Tristan Enaruna (13) had his fifth consecutive game with 23 points or more, scoring 24 points against the Mastadons.
With the win, the Vikings improved to 15-10 overall and 8-6 in Horizon League play.
