CSU men’s basketball loses to Milwaukee, 71-68

Cleveland State held a double-digit lead in the first half, but poor shooting in the second half led to the Milwaukee win

Cleveland State men’s basketball lost to the Milwaukee Panthers, 71-68, at Henry J. Goodman Arena on Feb. 14. 

The Vikings got off to a hot start against the Panthers, where CSU held an 11-point lead with four minutes left in the first half. However, the Panthers chipped away at the lead and trailed by just six at halftime. 

Milwaukee outshot CSU in the second half 52 to 34 percent. The Vikings were also only able to convert on 2 of 12 of their 3-point shots in the second half. The Panthers gained a six-point lead with two minutes left and held on to win the game. 

Tristan Enaruna (13) had his sixth consecutive game scoring 20 points or more. Enaruna finished with 20 points on 7 of 19 shooting. Tae Williams (1) was the other Viking to score in double-figures, finishing with 12 points.
