Cleveland State's three-game winning streak came to an end as it was defeated on the road by Ohio State, 2-0 on Sept. 21. The Vikings didn't relinquish a goal until the 68th minute.

Cleveland State soccer came away with a pair of victories over Detroit Mercy over the weekend. The men nabbed a 2-0 shutout at home while the women captured a thrilling 2-1 victory on the road in overtime on a golden goal from Maddie Young. It was the first win at Detroit in program history for the women.

Cleveland State men's soccer notched its second straight victory as it defeated host Green Bay, 4-1, on Sept. 11. Sophomore Bojan Kolevski tallied a hat trick with three goals on the evening.

Cleveland State women's soccer continued to struggle as they dropped a pair of matches to Akron and Ohio last weekend. The ladies lost 1-0 to the Zips on Sept. 9 and and were defeated 3-1 by Ohio on Sept. 12.
