Cleveland State soccer came away with a pair of victories over Detroit Mercy over the weekend. The men nabbed a 2-0 shutout at home while the women captured a thrilling 2-1 victory on the road in overtime on a golden goal from Maddie Young. It was the first win at Detroit in program history for the women.

Cleveland State men's soccer notched its second straight victory as it defeated host Green Bay, 4-1, on Sept. 11. Sophomore Bojan Kolevski tallied a hat trick with three goals on the evening.

Cleveland State women's soccer fell to Niagara, 3-0 on Sept. 5. The Vikings were playing from behind almost the entire contest after the Purple Eagles nabbed a goal in the first minute of play.
