Celebrate Valentine’s Day with various events themed around the holiday on campus.
- Tuesday 2/11 - Love Your Body Week: Galentine’s Day
The Mareyjoyce Green Women’s Center is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a week full of self-love events. Starting the week, Tuesday’s Galentine’s Day celebration from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in BH142. There will be snacks and activities to celebrate healthy love with yourself and others.
- Wednesday 2/12 - Queer Book Club
Cleveland State’s queer book club will be meeting Wednesday from 2-3 p.m. in the TRIO offices in BH110. The book club, which is a collaboration between the Cleveland State’s LGBTQ+ Center and TRIO, will be reading “Love, Death, and the Changing of the Seasons” by Marilyn Hacker. Free copies will be provided, located in the TRIO offices and LGBTQ+ Center for people who want to participate.
- Thursday 2/13 - Valentine’s Day Wax Hands Sculpture Experience
The Modern Interpretation of the Arts Association (MIA) will be having their annual wax hands event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday in the V.L. lounge/lobby, room 301, of the Student Center. Bring a date, friends or arrive solo to create personalized hand sculptures to capture your love and commemorate Valentine’s Day.
- Friday 2/14 - Be Mine Bash
Looking for last minute Valentine’s Day plans? Whether you’re single, taken or somewhere in between, Campus Activities Board (CAB)’s Be Mine Bash is the place to be Friday night. There will be plenty to do with a live DJ, a DIY candy heart making station and a photo op from 5-8 p.m. in the Student Center Atrium.
