Things to do around CSU week 8
From networking with sports pros to celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, this week is packed with ways to get engaged and learn at CSU.
- Wednesday 10/15 - Artificial Intelligence in Marketing
CSU’s Monte Ahuja College of Business will be having an online workshop instructed by Niki Spencer, marketing advisor of the Ohio Small Business Development Center at Cleveland State University. Spencer will teach students about the use of AI in marketing strategies. Join other students in the free workshop from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.using this link to register.
- Thursday 10/16 - Lubrizol Lunch & Learn
Join the American Institute of Chemical Engineers to learn about Lubrizol, the global specialty chemical company and their co-op program. Learn about the program – which offers student opportunities to gain engineering experience and hands-on-work – while chowing down on some pizza from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in WH 405.

The Entertainment and Sports Law Association (ESLA) will be hosting a networking event featuring guest speakers Kerry Barrett, the assistant general counsel for the Cleveland Cavaliers, and Chris Harrington, the assistant general counsel for Draft Kings. The event from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. will be in the CSU Law Library Learning Commons.
- Friday 10/17 - Halloween Fiesta
End the week celebrating the conclusion of Hispanic Heritage Month with Latinos Unidos as they put on a party for all to enjoy from 7 to 11 p.m. on the third floor of the Student Center Ballroom.
