4 things to do around CSU week 13
Mid-April events offer students opportunities to network, prepare for careers and engage in campus activities.
- Tuesday 4/14 – Learn About SPJ
Hosted by the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ), this event will take place in the Student Center InnerLink. Students will have the opportunity to learn more about SPJ, pick up informational flyers and sign up to get involved. The event focuses on networking opportunities and ways to connect with others in the field of journalism.
- Tuesday 4/14 - Thursday 4/16 – I’m Graduating, Now What?
CSU Career Development & Exploration will host a three-day event from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Center InnerLink. The event is designed to help graduating students prepare for the job market. Attendees can receive quick coaching on resumes and cover letters, get tips on interviewing and networking, and learn how to improve their LinkedIn profiles. Personalized guidance will also be available, along with giveaways for graduating students.
- Saturday 4/18 – Think Champs & Line Dance Therapy
Hosted by the Center for Campus Engagement, this event will take place from noon to 2 p.m. across the 3rd Floor Commuter Lounge and Student Center Atrium. Think Champs will offer activities focused on strategic thinking, creativity and teamwork. Line Dance Therapy will provide a fun and welcoming space for students to relax, dance and reduce stress while connecting with others.
- Sunday 4/19 – Wild Roses and Poker Poses Family/Friends Day
Hosted by Delta Zeta, this event will take place from noon to 3 p.m. in the Student Center. The event invites students to bring family and friends for a social gathering focused on community and connection.
