The coronavirus pandemic continues to play spoiler to Cleveland State University athletics. Not only is it affecting athletics, it also is affecting the way the Viking athletic medical staff handles its business.
Cleveland State University is preparing dorms in Fenn Hall as temporary housing for COVID-19 healthcare workers who cannot go home to their families after being exposed to patients testing positive for the virus.
Applause and cheering followed every performance at the Cabaret Cleveland State University’s Campus Activities Board (CAB) held March 3, where students watched burlesque-type dancing from area professionals as well as fellow students performing in front of their peers.
Cleveland State University announced a transition to remote-only learning on Wednesday, March 11.
Students gathered to celebrate Women’s History Month by listening to musicians, comedians, and various other performers and speakers at the Campus Activities Board (CAB)’s "Empower Her CSU" event.
The show was the second of a two-part event organized by CAB to kick off Women’s History Month. CAB’s Diversity Events Chair Riley Roubanes took the lead in planning the event.
The spring has sprung and sports should be going on. Baseballs should be flying over the fences, sprinters should be getting on the track, and lacrosse players should be celebrating victories.
