
CSU women's basketball defeats Wright State 81-46
Cleveland State women's basketball traded baskets with the Wright State Raiders before going on an 11-0 run midway through the first quarter of its last home game of the season, at the Wolstein Center on Wednesday.
The Vikings led 21-7 at the end of the first quarter and kept that momentum in the second quarter with the help of Mickayla Perdue and Macey Fegan, taking a 34-13 lead into the halftime break.
The two teams played an even start to the third quarter, until an 8-0 run from the Vikings – including back-to-back three-pointers from Fegan and Perdue – extended the Vikings' lead to 33-points at 62-29 heading into the final 10 minutes of action.
The Vikings controlled play throughout the fourth quarter, pulling away for the 81-46 victory.
Mickayla Perdue led the highlights with her 16th 20-point game of the season. Jordana Reisma played in her 100th game with the Vikings.
It was also the seventh time this season that CSU reached double digits in steals, with 10 during the Wednesday night match.
