CSU men’s basketball defeats Robert Morris, 66-64

The Vikings overcame a 10-point deficit to defeat the RMU Colonials at home.

Cleveland State men’s basketball defeated the Robert Morris University Colonials, 66-64, at Henry J. Goodman Arena on Saturday, Jan. 27.

The Vikings overcame a 10-point deficit at the beginning of the second half to secure the win.

Tristan Enaruna (13), CSU's highest scorer, had 18 points in the second half, for his second consecutive 28-point performance.

For the match, Cleveland State had 17 assists on 25 field goals. Drew Lowder (3) led, with four assists. Free throws also played a big role in CSU’s win, with the team making 9-of-12 from the line. Lowder made two crucial free throws with five seconds left in the game, sealing the Vikings' win. 

Saturday's win improved Cleveland State to 13-9 overall and 6-5 in the Horizon League. 

Next up, The Vikings travel to University of Detroit Mercy to take on the Titans, Thursday, Feb. 1 at 7 p.m.
