Cleveland State’s on-campus book and all-things CSU store welcomed students back to campus Tuesday, Sept. 2. Viking Outfitters had snacks, new merchandise and store discounts, and, of course, a visit from CSUPD’s beloved therapy pups, Rune and Thor.

Dubbed the “Rune & Thor Welcome Back Party,” the event ran from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and gave students a chance to relax, shop and connect with one another at the start of the fall semester.

Vikings Outfitters also introduced new lines, including lots of doggo-themed merch. Students petted the pups, browsed the new collection and got discounts on apparel and other items.

From the reaction of students, the welcome back party created a lively atmosphere and set a positive tone for the semester.
