4 things to do around CSU week 5
The end of September marks the changing of the seasons. The final events of the summer start to wind down, while fall events begin. From a free coffee and some quiet writing time to line dancing downtown, here are some things this week not to miss.
- Thursday 9/24 - Vikes Write Together
If you're a graduate student, or any student who just needs quiet time to write, come to Parker Hannifin Hall at 10 a.m. for free coffee and snacks, and spend some QT dedicated to writing assignments. The invitation is open to all students, but will focus on graduate students who may need set time to focus on dissertations and theses.
- Thursday 9/24 - PRSSA Fruit Stand
- CSU's PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America) is hosting a fundraiser from 1-6 p.m. at the Fruit Stand at Playhouse Square. If you stop by during this time, mention the CSU PRSSA when you buy something delicious, and a portion of the proceeds will go to CSU PRSSA.
- Friday 9/25 - Line Dancing on the Square
Come down to Public Square for an evening of line dancing. The Savvy Tempo Steppers will lead the dances from 6-8 p.m. for the final night of fun. This event is free and open to all ages.
- Saturday 9/26 - VegFest at Lincoln Park
Are you vegan, looking to become one, or just curious about veganism? Then this event is perfect for you. Come to the Cleveland VegFest in Lincoln Park, Tremont, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., and try over 70 different food vendors, all vegan. Admission is free, but a $5 donation is suggested. For more details about the event, check out their Facebook Page: Cleveland VegFest.
