4 things to do around CSU week 2
As the fall semester begins, week two at CSU brings opportunities for sorority fundraisers, making connections, and creative campus engagement events including painting and dancing.
- Thursday 9/3 - Splash a DZ
Students are invited to join Delta Zeta for Splash a DZ on Sept. 3 in the CSU courtyard. The event will raise money for Starkey Hearing Foundation as part of Delta Zeta’s philanthropy efforts. The event will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Thursday 9/3 - CSU Got Sole
Looking for a creative way to spend your evening? CSU Got Sole, hosted by the Center for Campus Engagement, will take place Sept. 3 in the Student Center Atrium. Attendees can unleash their creativity by painting their own collectible sneaker figurine. The event runs from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Friday 9/4 - Meet the Blue Angels
Ahead of their weekend performance over Lake Erie, meet the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, who are visiting campus on Friday, Sept. 4. Meet these world-class pilots and team members and celebrate this incredible partnership with our community. The event is free and open to all students, faculty, staff and their families. It's in the Student Center lounge, 3rd floor from 8:30 a.m to 9:30 a.m.
- Friday 9/4 - Around the World in 80 Minutes
Take a trip around the world without leaving campus at the Around the World in 80 Minutes event. Hosted by the Center for Campus Engagement, the event will take place Sept. 4 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the CSU Student Center. Students can celebrate cultures from around the globe by wearing traditional attire and dancing along to music from around the world.
