4 things to do around CSU week 10

Late March brings opportunities for students to connect with alumni, celebrate culture and engage in campus events.
  • Monday 3/24 – Women in OSM Seminar
    The OSM Organization of Cleveland State will host a seminar from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in BU 220. Alumni speakers from Cleveland Kitchen and Steris will share their industry experiences and discuss potential internship opportunities. Refreshments will be provided during the event.

 

  • Wednesday 3/26 – Pan-African and Hispanic Heritage Night
    Hosted by Club de Español, this event will take place from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in BH 137 at the Howard A. Mims African American Cultural Center. In honor of Women’s History Month, the event highlights Afro-Latina, Hispanic and Pan-African women who have made meaningful contributions to their communities. The event is open to all students.

 

  • Thursday 3/27 – ACM Banquet
    The Association for Computing Machinery, will host its annual banquet from 5 to 8 p.m. in WH 405 in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science. The event will feature keynote speaker Ramandeep Arora, an embedded software engineer at Stanley Black & Decker and CSU alumna, who will share insights from her career and offer advice to students.

 

  • Friday 3/28 – Helheim Esports Tournament
    The Esports Club will host Helheim, a large-scale Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament, starting at 8 a.m. in the Glasscock Ballroom. The two-day event will bring together over 200 participants, including CSU students, local players, high school teams and invited colleges. The tournament will feature a competitive stage and a double-elimination format.
