Cleveland hosts women’s March Madness Final Four

Cleveland is hosting the college women’s basketball Final Four on April 5 and April 7. NC State, Iowa, UConn and South Carolina are competing for the championship.

Cleveland hosts the women’s March Madness Final Four games on April 5 and April 7 at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. 

The last time Cleveland hosted the women’s Final Four was in 2007. The interest in women’s collegiate basketball has skyrocketed since then. 

According to Logitix, The average price of a resold ticket for the women's semifinals is more than double the men’s:  $2,323 compared to 1,001.21.

This is due to the marketability of big names like Caitlin Clark (Iowa) and Paige Bueckers (UConn). The two will play each other in the second game of the slate Friday night. 

Matchups

  • NC State plays South Carolina at 7 p.m. 
  • UConn plays Iowa at 9:30 p.m.
