Candy Land came alive in Cleveland State’s Student Center Jan. 16 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. as the Campus Activities Board created a sugary extravaganza to welcome students back to spring semester at Cleveland State.
Speakers played songs with titles that held a relationship with candy such as “Sucker” by the Jonas Brothers, “Sugar Sugar” by The Archies, and “Sugar Mama” by Beyoncé, while students wandered the larger-than-life game board in search of candy and games.
Cleveland State University’s Golden Z Club had its first volunteer event at MedWish International on East 31st Street on Feb. 15 to sort and pack donated medical supplies to ship to people in need around the world.
The Dan T. Moore Makerspace opened in October, 2018, and features a large variety of tools and equipment that engineering students can use. The Makerspace is located in Washkewicz Hall.
