4 things to do around CSU week 7

From a petting zoo and AI discussion to a hockey game and a charity walk, CSU students have plenty of ways to take a break, get involved and connect on campus this week.
  • Wednesday 10/7 - Midterm stress relief: petting zoo

    Hosted by Turning Point USA at Cleveland State University, the Midterm stress relief: petting zoo event will occur on Oct. 7 in the Student Center Courtyard. Students can take a break from midterm stress, spend time with animals and  connect with other students. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Thursday 10/8 – How (NOT) to use AI In your math course

    The Operation STEM Student Society will host How (NOT) to use AI In your math course on Oct. 8 in the LCLC (Library First Floor). Students can learn about responsible AI use in mathematics courses and strategies for using AI as a learning tool rather than a shortcut. The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.
     
  • Friday 10/9 – CSU hockey home game

    Cleveland State Hockey Club returns for the CSU hockey home game on Oct. 9 at Michael A. Ries Ice Rink. Puck drop is scheduled for 8:15 p.m.
     
  • Saturday 10/10 – Hot girl walk for hearing

    Students can get active while supporting a good cause at Hot girl walk for hearing, hosted by Delta Zeta, on Oct. 10 at the Urban Building. The event supports hearing and speech-related philanthropy efforts and encourages participants to come together for an afternoon of walking, community and awareness. The event will take place from noon to 4 p.m.
