Beyond Borders: The Art of Siona Benjamin

Students can experience a one-of-a-kind art exhibition in CSU’s very own art gallery at 1307 Euclid Avenue this week. The exhibit runs through March 25, and can be visited Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. The groundbreaking art explores themes of immigration, gender, race, and the concept of “home” through the lens of an Indian Jewish immigrant.

The Beatles: Get Back to Let It Be

Music fans can step into The Beatles’ January 1969 rehearsals, studio sessions, and their final performance on the Apple Corps rooftop at this brand new exhibit at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Some of the exhibit’s featured items include John Lennon’s sunglasses and George Harrison’s pink pinstripe suit. The immersive experience runs from Sunday, March 12 through the end of March. Tickets can be purchased here, and students can receive a $5 discount when they present their student ID at check in.

Hofbräuhaus St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

Grab your best green outfit and become Irish for a day at Hofbraühaus this Friday! Their St. Patrick’s Day celebration will run from 9 a. m. to 11 p. m. and feature performances from the Clash of The Tartans, keg tapping with the Burke School of Irish Dance, giveaways from the Jager girls, and a chance to meet Cleveland’s largest leprechaun. Admission is free, but you can reserve a table on Hofbraühaus’s website.

Cleveland Charge v. Long Island Nets

Sports fans can watch future NBA stars in action on the court this Friday when Cleveland’s G League team takes on the Long Island Nets in CSU’s very own Wolstein Center. The Cleveland Charge is celebrating “MGK Night” beginning at 6 p.m. on March 17, highlighting famous Cleveland musician Machine Gun Kelly. The first 1,000 fans at the door can get a hot pink MGK t-shirt, and everybody can enjoy dollar hot dogs, player autographs, and free throws after the game ends. Tickets can be purchased here.
