4 Things to do Around CSU week 11
Fall back into November with a turn of the clocks and the election that’s finally arrived.
- Monday 11/4 - Women’s Wrestling Recruitment
Cleveland State University is recruiting for the Women’s Wrestling Club. To all the girls who want to get involved in a hands-on sport, you can hear about the recruitment process to wrestle as a Viking in the Student Center Innerlink on Nov. 4 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
- Tuesday 11/5 - U.S. General Election
Get your “Ohio voted” sticker this Tuesday, Nov. 5; a day to practice democracy. The election season has swarmed the media with political content, all of which will begin to wrap up come election day. The final opportunity to cast your ballot will last from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at all in-person polling locations. Cleveland State students who can and are registered to vote are encouraged to go to their local polls and exercise their right.
- Wednesday 11/6 - Happy Diwali
On Nov. 6, the Indian Student Organization is hosting a celebration of Diwali (Festival of Lights) in the Student Center Atrium from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The celebration will include festive meals, traditions, music and dance performances. All CSU students are encouraged to come and participate in the celebrations of the Hindi festival of lights which symbolizes the victory of good over evil.
- Thursday 11/8 - CABsino
Campus Activities Board is back in action with their annual CABsino event held in the Student Center from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. The theme for the anticipated event has yet to be revealed. To read about the last CABsino held, you can visit the Cleveland Stater story from the spring semester.
