4 Things to do Around CSU

As this spring semester comes to a close, students at CSU are welcome to join in on end-of-term activities taking place on campus throughout the last few weeks of school.

  • Tuesday 4/23 - CAB’s talent show

    If you’re on the lookout to see some talent from CSU’s own students, check out Campus Activities Board’s talent show in Berkman Hall Auditorium between 6 and 8 p.m. this Tuesday. Prizes are offered to talent show participants and CAB asks students to show off!
     
  • Wednesday 4/24 - EarthFest

    The week kicked off with Earth Day on Monday and now on Wednesday, Hospitality Services will host “EarthFest” in the Student Center between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. The event will offer sustainable activities like making grow-your-own-plant boxes. Celebrate the protection of our Earth by learning fun and easy ways to reduce, reuse and recycle.
  • Thursday 4/25 - Friday 04/26 - PRSSA thrift pop-up

    Public Relations Student Society of America is hosting a thrift pop-up on Thursday and Friday in the Student Center to raise money for the organization to engage and network with agencies in the Cleveland area. Clothing prices will range from $1- $20 and the pop-up will take place both days between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Not only is thrifting a fun way to expand your style, but second-hand purchases are the perfect way to stay environmentally friendly during Earth Month!
     
  • Friday 04/26 - Gamestop

    The end of the semester can cause a lot of stress, and spring is a busy season! Let yourself relax for a moment and join the Center for Campus Engagement to play games in the Student Center 313/315. The fun starts at 11 a.m. and lasts until 1:30 p.m.

    Summer is fast approaching, and this year Ohioans should be able to legally smoke recreational marijuana while enjoying the sunshine. That it's not possible yet to legally buy weed won't stop people from rolling a joint to celebrate 4/20.

    Five Black women inspired their audience, March 1, at a panel organized by Cleveland State's Mareyjoyce Green Women’s Center to initiate women’s history month with a discussion of the meaning of Black womanhood.

    55 high school teams competed for top robot at the 25th annual FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Buckeye Regional competition at the Wolstein Center from March 20-23.
