4 things to do around CSU this week

From self care to art, here are a handful of fun-filled events happening around Cleveland State this week.

 

9/11-9/15 - Be Well. Be Healthy. Be You.

CSU’s Student Wellness Programs are hosting a series of events all week long to promote self care and mindfulness. This week of wellness includes a Mental Health Action Fair, healthy habits challenge, and a music and meditation workshop. 

 

9/11-9/17 - Cleveland Wing Week

Is there a new chicken spot you have been waiting to try? This week is the perfect time! Over 40 Cleveland restaurants are participating in a “wing week” deal which includes six wings for only $7. Each restaurant is offering its own unique combinations of boneless and traditional wings with their signature sauces. Some participating eateries around downtown Cleveland include Agave & Rye, Ninja City and Saucy Brew Works. Check out Cleveland Wing Week’s website for a list of all restaurants taking part. 

 

9/15 - Third Friday Art Walk

Every third Friday of the month, 78th Street Studios hosts an art walk filled with food, art and more all from local vendors. Artists from all around the Cleveland area have the chance to display and sell their artwork. There are also opportunities to purchase jewelry, candles, footwear and more. The event is free for all to attend and will take place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.. A list of vendors for this upcoming Art Walk can be found on the event’s website

 

9/15 - Cleveland Guardians vs. Texas Rangers

End your week with a fun summer night at Progressive Field! The Guards take on the Rangers at home with first pitch at 7:10 p.m. Additionally, this Friday’s game is Hispanic Heritage celebration night. CSU students are eligible for discounted tickets in the upper bleachers and upper reserved sections of Progressive Field.
