Caryl Pagel, an associate professor of creative writing at Cleveland State University and the director of the university’s Poetry Center, released her new prose book on Tuesday, Sept. 15., in which she reflects on writing and what it is like to release a book in the midst of a pandemic.

Overlooking University Circle, Cedar-Fairmont leaves the lowlands that take travelers into downtown and climbs to an area with a popular mixture of businesses and residents.

Two prominent centers of leisure and entertainment anchor different ends of Euclid Avenue. To the west is Playhouse Square and to the east is University Circle.
