4 things to do around CSU week 14
Late-April events offer students opportunities to learn their rights, network and engage in campus activities.
- Monday 4/20 - Wednesday 4/23 – Spinning into Spring
Education Collective will host a three-day event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to encourage student engagement. This event will take place in the Student Center Innerlink. Students will have the opportunity to play a game of spin the wheel and purchase raffle tickets to win themed baskets and other prizes.
- Wednesday 4/22 – Know Your Rights Training
Hosted by Students for Justice in Palestine, this interactive training session will take place from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Berkman Hall, room 420. Participants will learn about their rights during police interaction and immigration protections through accessible, age-appropriate instruction.
- Thursday 4/23 – SPJ Guest Speaker
Presented by the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ), Full-time reporter and CSU alumna Casey Couch will be present in COM conference room MU 232 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.. Couch will speak on her experience and share the lessons learned during her first year as a Cleveland Jewish News reporter.
- Sunday 4/26 – Double Header Soccer Match
Hosted by Women's Club Soccer, there will be a double scrimmage match between Kent State University and Akron University from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Krenzler Field.
