From bake sales to men's soccer, here are some exciting things around Cleveland State this week.
- 10/10 - Breast cancer awareness bake sale
Do you enjoy treats and want to support a compassionate cause? October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. is hosting a bake sale to celebrate this nationwide initiative. The event is part of the organization's commitment to enhancing women's quality of life and increasing progress toward health awareness. The event will take place in the Student Center Inner-Link from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- 10/10 - Viking Public House trivia Tuesday
Are you interested in food and trivia? From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Viking Food Co. will host a trivia night at the newly opened Viking Public House. There will also be prizes for the winning teams! Viking Public House is located at 2300 Euclid Ave., across from the CSU Science Building.
- 10/14 - Alumni night: men's soccer vs. Milwaukee
This Saturday, CSU’s men's soccer will celebrate alumni night and face Milwaukee in a Horizon League conference game. Admission is free for everyone! The match is at Krenzler Field at 7 p.m.
- 10/15 - Pickering Hill Farms fall festival
Do you love the fall and want something fall-themed to do for the weekend? From noon to 5 p.m., Pickering Hill Farms is offering free wagon rides to their pumpkin patch! One dollar is all it takes to enter the corn maze, with fall refreshments such as hot and cold cider and fresh apple fritters also available for sale Pickering Hill Farms is in Avon, across from Avon Commons.
