As we hit the middle of the semester, here are a few ways to get involved at CSU this week!
  • 10/16 - 10/20 -  All Rise: A Festival of Film

    All Rise: A Festival of Film & Law is back for another year at Cleveland State! This week-long film event is free and starts Monday, Oct. 16 at 5 p.m. in the CSU School of Film and Media Arts on the 6th floor. For each film event, there will be guest speakers and panel discussions surrounding cinema, law and justice. Oct. 16 will be a screening of Chop & Steele followed by an opening night reception. Oct. 17 will be a screening of She Said; Oct 18 will be a screening of  Legally Blonde; Oct. 19 will be a screening of Lovely Jackson;. Oct. 20 will be a screening of 26.2 to Life followed by a closing night reception. All screenings are open to the public and begin at 5 p.m.
     
  • 10/17 - 10/18 - The Muslim Student Association Bake Sale

    If you are interested in baked goods, the Muslim Student Association will be hosting a bake sale from Tuesday, Oct. 17 to Wednesday, Oct. 18 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the CSU Inner Link. This bake sale is meant to help with fundraising for future MSA events. 
     
  • 10/19 - CSU Jazz Ensemble

    The School of Music and the Arts at CSU will be hosting the CSU Jazz Ensemble Thursday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. in the Waetjen Auditorium. Dr. John Perrine, the Coordinator of Jazz Studies and the Director of Jazz Ensembles, described it as, “A jazz-filled evening featuring the CSU Jazz Ensemble!" The ensemble will perform original arrangements as well as jazz standards

     
  • 10/21 -  85 South Live: The 3 Headed Monster Tour

    The 85 South Live: The 3 Headed Monster Tour will be performing at the Wolstein Center on Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. The group is made up of comedians DC Young Fly, Karlous Miller and Chico Bean. They are known for their fearless comedy, improv, and roasting skills. The group rose to fame on YouTube with over two million subscribers. Tickets are available on the Cleveland State Wolstein Center
    website. Prices range from $42.50 to $247.50.
