4 THINGS TO DO AROUND CSU

With finals week quickly approaching, here are some things around Cleveland State this week to help relieve the stress.
  • Wednesday 5/1 - CSU’s CarniVike

The Division of Hospitality Services hosts its annual CarniVike event on Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Music and Communication lawn. The event aims to increase awareness and promote a culture of inclusivity for all. There will be a mixture of in-person, interactive activities and live performances. CarniVike is open to the CSU and broader Cleveland community.

  • Wednesday 5/1 - Graduate Networking Social

The College of Graduate Studies hosts a casual opportunity for prospective students to learn about graduate programs on Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer and desserts for attendees. Students can register here.

  • Thursday 5/2 - THE SUMAR SKÅL

In Old Norse, it stands for “Summer Cheers.” Viking Food Co. hosts a beginning of Summer party at Viking Public House on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., featuring a live concert with LoConti and The Daze. Guests can enjoy music, food, raffles and mocktails to kick off the summer.

  • Friday 5/3 - SGA Senate Meeting

Student Government Association (SGA) hosts its bi-weekly meeting on Friday at 3:30 p.m., in Berkman Hall 201. Students are encouraged to attend and to bring to their representative voice on campus any concerns they have about anything related to CSU.
