Cleveland State University celebrated graduation Sunday with two in-person commencement ceremonies at the university’s Wolstein Center, honoring fall 2021 graduates in the morning and that afternoon honoring 2020 graduates with the opportunity denied them last year to walk.
The Digital CSU Student Showcase offered students interested in anything digital to show some of their work in the Student Center on Thursday, Nov. 18.
The Campus Activities Board welcomed nearly a thousand students into the Student Center-turned-casino on September 24.
“After a year of virtual events, it was great to see an amazing turnout at CABsino with 992 attendees between the two sessions,” said event planner Carley Barnett.
Cleveland State University welcomed back students to campus on August 23 for the first time since the university moved primarily online in March 2020.
For the past year and a half the campus has been almost empty due to circumstances brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
