NKU Norse defeat CSU Vikings 3-1 in volleyball

Cleveland State women’s volleyball fell to Northern Kentucky University 3-1 on Saturday at Henry J. Goodman Arena.

The Viking’s lost 3-1 to Northern Kentucky University on Saturday, CSU's first defeat in seven matches. Cleveland State is now 10-3 overall this season and 1-1 in the Horizon League.

For the Vikings, Liberty Torres and Nia Hall led the offense with a total of 29 kills, while Ella Mihacevich recorded 39 assists.

On defense, Emma Walker led CSU with 24 digs, followed by Ayva Leon and Lesley Marshall with 10 each,

Overall CSU posted nine service aces, including three from Walker and two from Marshall.

The Vikings combined for seven team blocks, Allana Appleby leading with four.
