Cleveland has a lot to offer when it comes to arts and culture, and students can enjoy it all at a discount. From visiting art museums to attending concerts or plays, there are plenty of ways to experience the city's cultural scene without spending too much.

Student discounts and programs:

Cleveland Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA): MOCA is located in the heart of Cleveland's Uptown District, a cultural hub of the city. With a valid student ID, admission is $5. The museum offers free entry to all visitors on the first Saturday of every month.

The Cleveland Orchestra: Founded in 1918, the Cleveland Orchestra has earned a reputation as one of the "Big Five" orchestras in the United States. By getting a  student advantage membership, students can attend most performances for just $15 per ticket, providing access to world-class orchestral music at an affordable price.

Cleveland Play House (CPH): CPH is one of the oldest and most prestigious regional theaters in the United States. Students under 25 can purchase tickets for as little as $15, with Cleveland State University students eligible for tickets as low as $6. These tickets are available 90 minutes before the evening's performance.

Cleveland Museum of Art:  Founded in 1913, the Cleveland Museum of Art is widely respected for its remarkable collection of more than 61,000 works of art. The museum offers various programs for university faculty and students, including group visits, internships and specialty programs designed to enhance academic learning through art.

Artistic opportunities:

Valley Art Center: The Student/Faculty Art Exhibition is an annual event that showcases diverse artwork from emerging and veteran artists. The exhibition includes talks where artists offer insights into their work.

Cuyahoga Arts & Culture (CAC): CAC supports arts and culture organizations in Cuyahoga County through grants and funding opportunities. They have invested more than $170 million in over 375 organizations since 2007, helping maintain a vibrant art community.

Ohio Arts Council: The council offers grants to support organizations, arts learning and individual artists, contributing to the state's rich arts and culture sector.

Cleveland offers a lot of great arts and culture for students at affordable prices.
