CSU celebrates Black History Month with music, food and history

To Celebrate Black History Month, CSU’s Office of Inclusion and Multicultural Engagement hosted a Black History Month celebration across campus on Thursday, Feb. 1.
CSU Women's basketball crushes Green Bay, 86-63
Cleveland State women’s basketball defeated Green Bay, 86-63, at the Henry J. Goodman Arena, at home on Saturday.
The Vikings built a 6-0 advantage at the start of the game after Colbi Maples (11) and Mickayla Perdue (0) made back-to-back 3-pointers. Perdue finished the game with 30 points. Maples shone with eight assists.
Winter storm freezes Cleveland, shuts down CSU
On Friday, Jan. 19, Cleveland State University canceled classes and closed campus offices due to winter conditions.
CSU begins spring 2024
Back to school season is in full swing! Students returned to Cleveland State University, Tuesday, to begin the spring 2024 semester, in high spirits despite the low temperatures.

Cleveland State University celebrated its fall 2023 graduating class with a commencement ceremony, Saturday, Dec. 16, at the Wolstein Center.
Book award honors writers who combat racism, promote diversity
The 88th annual Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards honored five authors in fiction, non-fiction and poetry, and celebrated lifetime achievements. The awards ceremony was held at the Maltz Performing Arts Center on Sept. 28.
CSU Residence Life hosts Build-A-Bear event
Students living at The Edge or The Langston had the chance to take part in the free event, with the opportunity to donate nonperishable goods to Lift Up Vikes food pantry and, if they chose to do so, donate their plush bears to the Children's Center of Medina County.
