Students took advantage of the sunny but chilly and breezy Wednesday afternoon to relax at the end of semester during the third annual CarniVike event.
Hosted by CSU's Division of Hospitality Services, CarniVike is an event open to CSU students and other members of the Cleveland State campus and community, featuring a carnival-like atmosphere, attractions, food and games.
CSU Digital hosted its 2024 fall Student Showcase Dec. 3 in the Student Center Atrium, featuring a wide range of digital, multimedia and multimodal works from various departments across campus.
Viking Food Co. held its annual Vikesgiving on Nov. 21, allowing students, staff and faculty to celebrate with their friends and family at the CSU dining hall, Viking Marketplace. Along with the early celebration and spread of food, students were able to donate to “Lift Up Vikes! (LUV!),” a resource and food pantry for students on campus.
Billy Joel and Rod Stewart attracted over 50,000 excited fans to Huntington Bank Field, Sept. 13, 2024. It was the first time the two superstars had shared a concert stage.

Cleveland State men's soccer defeated Chicago State 3-1 on Friday at Krenzler Field. It was the second straight victory at home for the Vikings, who moved to 2-1 for the season with the win.

CSU's TRIO Student Support Services program hosted its annual graduation on May 2 when first-generation graduates celebrated with family and friends graduating from Cleveland State University.
The TRIO/SSS Program is designed to help first-generation college and/or low-income students progress toward graduation. TRIO/SSS provides opportunities for academic development, assistance with college requirements, and the motivation and support needed to complete a college degree.
