CSU's TRIO Student Support Services program hosted its annual graduation on May 2 when first-generation graduates celebrated with family and friends graduating from Cleveland State University.

The TRIO/SSS Program is designed to help first-generation college and/or low-income students progress toward graduation. TRIO/SSS provides opportunities for academic development, assistance with college requirements, and the motivation and support needed to complete a college degree. 

Students, friends, family and members of the Cleveland community were out having fun the afternoon of May 1, as Cleveland State University's Division of Hospitality Services hosted its annual CarniVike. 

The event served as a platform to raise awareness and foster inclusivity. Students, and the wider college community and its supporters attended. Sponsors included Freshwater, RTA and the Cleveland Public Library. 

The Levin College of Public Affairs and Education acknowledged the college's valedictorian, outstanding students, staff and promoted faculty in an event to mark the end of the semester held in the Student Center ballroom April 15.
