The Cleveland Stater is the laboratory newspaper of the School of Communication at Cleveland State University in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. Established in 1998, The Cleveland Stater is the work of students enrolled in Communication 426 and 427 and requires students to write, edit, photograph, design and lay out each issue. They also maintain the online version and develop personal blogs.

Publishing: The Cleveland Stater publishes five issues in the fall semester and five issues in the spring semesters. It does not publish during the summer months. Circulation is 3,000.
